I miss the days when people could actually engage with each other, have a two-way conversation without rage toward each other. Even if we disagreed there was no need to shout about it, call someone out sbout it. What happened to just two people talking? You can’t say anything now-a-days before someone is walking up into someone’s face maybe pulling a gun from some place and just shooting them right there. When did we become such an angry people? Just a bunch of sheeple following the masses and just looking like asses. When did we become a society that doesn’t care? and where do we go from here? FB, Instagram, Twitter: WVPoetrygirl

sad but so true. With the development of technology and the decrease in our attention spam, we have lost so much compassion. But i think there is so much good still. Look at all the protests and marches and voices being heard in all corners of the world. We have so much work to do and I understand your hopelessness at the future but maybe in times like this we can bond over our mutual despair and make a connection instead. lovely poem!
Thank you, Anna.
