Lonely wolf runs
Through tree-covered sun,
Sprinting,
Growling,
Pouncing,
Jaws clenching down on prey’s throat,
Teeth ripping through meat after prey chokes.
Wolf, with blood covered maw,
Howls at the Harvest Moon,
Thankful for the meal, it croons.
Its victorious cry spreads through the forest like the water in the stream wolf runs along.
