"You Matter"

If you feel worthless and abandoned,
Neglected and for naught,
If you feel like no one cares for you,
Or maybe that they forgot,
Look into the mirror,
Tell yourself the truth:
You are loved by a God who sees you,
By a God who sees your needs.
You are loved by God who wishes
That you could see His gentle eyes
That don’t look down on you,
But rather look at your hurts and lies –
The lies you tell yourself,
That you are of no value anyway,
The lies that hurt you deeply,
That you wish would fade away…
Yes, the God who sees you
Looks at you with love,
He wants you to know
That His Son died for your soul,
So that you could go to Heaven,
Live with God forever,
And never feel unloved.
His Son didn’t stay dead,
He rose the third day.
He will never leave you,
Nor will He walk away.
You matter to the God who loves you more than life,
Who gives you hope,
Who gives you love,
Who wishes to give you life.

This poem is very touching! It tells me how loving God is. I know how loving God is. He is amazing. And the word amazing can’t ever compare to His love.
