In the night dark
lying near my one love
summer heat with the fan on
her hair in the breeze dance
touching my face as a butterfly a flower
Her perfume flavors the room
as my body hungers the sweet taste
a few light rays a quarter moon
soft feel her gown, silky lace
outline of beauty in the faded light
to wake her I want
the feeling of love perfectly right
because her love, never enough
Feelings so real surface
early morning hiding sleep
How her loves grace
and how her love these years keep
thoughts swarm my mind as bees a honey-comb
love as honey drips delightfully from my heart
this constant love so deep the flow
feeds this empty space where love’s start
filling this man’s desire, soft lips kiss
stealing while a dream
inner thirst softly she unknowingly quench
the heat of love inside me steam
to awake her my thoughts, but deny myself whom never enough!
