Can you feel it?
Can you feel my heart?
It burns like fire and glows in the dark
Can you hear it?
Can you hear the silence?
It only grows quieter the further of sunset’s horizons
Can you see it?
Can you see my love?
It explodes like a bomb
sending from below to above
Can you taste it?
Can you taste the blood?
Left on your fingertips
into a sea of red
It’s gone
you won
Are you happy?
I can sense your fear
That is the reason why I’m here
Teach you some words youv’e already known
Hope it feels like home again

I really liked how you used the senses to break up the stanzas. It’s an effective way to make sure you’re describing everything as much as possible, and really enriches the piece.
I like how the words are in perfect harmony with the tone of the poem. The readers are able to understand the message behind the meaning of love, how it can be devastating and yet beautiful, how it can be suffocating and yet enlightening, how you can feel vulnerable and powerless and yet feel strong and fearless.
Thank you!
