I don't want to live with a ghost. I know it was her you loved the most. I'd just be someone to dry your tears but it's her in your dreams as I'm lying here. I wouldn't want to feel when you hold me close, arms around me but embracing a ghost. I am right here, but you cannot see, by holding onto ghosts you're letting go of me. Oh, I love this! It’s got such a sad feel to it, even in such few words. The look it gives me into the life and feelings of somebody dealing with a loved one who can’t let go of their ex, or a past spouse, is really vivid. It’s showing a losing battle.
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate it! -Anita
