I didn’t know.
Yet I never considered.
It was humanly possible.
To feel every single emotion,
Coursing through your veins
But, to feel nothing at the same time.
Something that authors write in books,
But something in real life that seems unimaginable.
The raging anger of how sad you are.
The sadness of how angry you are.
The sense of vulnerability.
That sense of nothing on the inside.
I didn’t know.
Yet I never considered
It was humanly possible.
To feel like again,
Atlas a time ago, a repeating feeling.
Towards a person,
But, a woman once said
Leave the weeping to the willow tree.

I love how you connected all these emotions to such a great title and saying. Emotions are such a complicated concept that they are nearly impossible to describe at times. Your mixing of anger with sadness, as well as numbness with feeling raw and exposed, make for a great description of that concept, though!
Your words so skillfully placed as one reading can so intensly feel the range of feelings, enjoyed.
