Chapter III:
Rose stopped and got up. She gave Liam a look that promised death.
“Three days.” She growled.
Liam knew that meant he had three days to give her the pencil. He had a plan. He went home from school with the pencil and grabbed a piece of paper then wrote down, “Everyone returned to normal”. He looked outside and nothing had changed. His neighbors still had a dead like look. He looked back at the paper and the words he wrote were gone replaced by, “You cannot escape what you did Liam..” written in a fancy old font. Liam felt like panicking, he had changed the world and now he had to pay the price.
He scribbled down, “The pencil I am writing with duplicates and the duplicate is instantly destroyed upon the writing of a single word”. Another pencil appeared and Liam could tell which one was real and fake just be feeling them. He decided to smart about containing his pencil since the corrupt citizens were obsessed with the pencil and couldn’t resist wanting to have it at all costs. He set the fake pencil aside and used the real one to write, “A case for the mythical pencil is created from the strongest material ever to exist and locked by a million locks which could only be unlocked by myself”.
A case appeared and I wrote down another final sentence before sending the counterfeit to Rose, “The real pencil’s power is transferred to Liam’s hand, he must write or type what he’d like to happen and it’ll occur. The real pencil will no longer work and become an ordinary pencil”, He finished and felt proud of himself. Now no one could ever find the true pencil. He went back to school to give Rose the fake pencil. He handed her it and she snatched it with greed.
“FINALLY MINEEE!” She said sounding like a psychopath. She ripped out some notebook paper and wrote a word, the pencil exploded in her hand.
“LIAMMMM!!!!” She screamed. Rose looked at my hand and said,
“I want the REAL pencil by tomorrow or ELSE YOU ARE GOING TO PAY LIAM!!!!” She yelled, nearly ripping her vocal chords.
“I actually have t-t-the real one here Rose..” I said, stuttering a little. I took out the case, opened it and handed her the pencil that had no more power. She looked at it and took it out with such force that it should’ve snapped in half. She wrote down a sentence and after nothing happened she screamed at me and demanded to have the real pencil. I insisted it was the real one. Rose stopped and stared at my hand.
“I need your hand Liam!” She laughed crazily.

So Rose has flipped out. I’m not surprised by that, but in truth no one should be welding the power of the that pencil. I’m just wondering, what happens when the pencil runs out of lead, or does it just replenish itself? This is a very interesting story. Please write more.
Of course I’ll write more! And since you’ve suggested, I will add a special ending which explains many of the readers unanswered questions such as, “What is the pencil’s origins?”, “Who made it and why?”, “How did the pencil gets its power?” and of course, “How did Liam happen to stumble across it?”. All will be answered in good time. I hope to write a few more chapters next week! I hope you enjoy how the story is turning out so far!
Yes, I love it so far. My one question is, will the pencil ever run out of lead, and if it does then what?
