You saw me, you left me,
There was nothing I could do,
You said we were finished, and we were thru.
When you left I felt tears fall,
How could you go when I gave it my all?
We had each other . . . are love was strong,
But you told me, ” I felt nothing from you. It never existed. It was always gone.”
Truth is I did try; you just didn’t see,
How much you really meant to me.
Our love was a board game in your eyes,
Our relationship only moved along with your believable lies.
Then you ended it without treating it with care,
You broke my heart by one big tare.
You saw me, you left me . . .
That’s all I meant to you,
Just a temporary piece in your life.

I like this poem a lot. It rhymes and flows very well, and the figurative language is astonishingly impressive. Very emotional and touching, good job and keep going 🙂
Thank you very much!
I know this poem is depressing and I wish I could have made it less.
