The true terror of horror literature is that the images of the damned only exist within the reader’s mind. Descriptions of death, mutilation and terror are left to the reader’s own imagination upon the sight of the flowing script. The author of horror does not create or show these things or draw them out for you. He simply describes what it may come to look like, that being no less than you who creates the picture in your mind. For if the author is twisted in his words, are you not twisted in your thoughts? Neither the Author nor the Reader, innocent of evil thought and imagery. Leaving you to ask what evils truly lay beneath the surface of your mind. For the potential of evil lies in all things. Ignorance to this only feeds it. We are born with the potentiality of two souls. Which one we decide to feed is upon us to decide. The Angel or the Demon, for these things reside in all things waiting to be fed.
