People have become extremely dependent on technology today. No one actually realizes it but it has become an important part of our life. Be it for a student, teacher, software professional, parent or even a toddler, their lives revolve around technology. Social life or reading books have taken a setback and even when people meet with their friends or go out they are constantly checking phones, messaging instead of having a conversation with the people around.
For children nowadays the main form of entertainment is the tablet or TV. The games they play are also on technological devices, instead of going out and playing . On one side while technology is actually connecting people seamlessly with their family, friends wherever in the world they are on the other side it is making people talk less and communicate less as well. The world is revolving and everyone now knows to use technological devices which is great but people should know the right amount of time to be spent on all this. Wisely allocating time for everything important in life in required. Spending time outdoors, talking to people is equally important as is working and browsing on a laptop.
This also has an adverse affect on the health. Staring at a mobile/laptop the whole day is not helping the eyes and it is straining the eyes. It is also affecting the spine and the neck because of the constant bending of your neck while on phone. All this can lead to headache and can permanently damage something in your body. Parents should be more careful with their children using technological devices and should encourage them to have more friends outdoors than to use them. Looking at all these adverse effects of technology one might be wondering if it is actually a boon or hindrance for out life.
