Note:: What do you think about “Rebel” for the title? Once I decide on a title, I’ll make a cover for it!
Two
Ace Phinneas Brown
A BLACK MUSTANG Bullitt. Literally the most white-trash thing I’ve ever seen. I lean against my white Lamborghini and smile to myself. I wait for the owner of the Mustang to appear, expecting to see someone like Cade Withards appear, and am shocked to see a tiny girl in a leather-looking jacket appear.
The blunt drops from my fingers and I laugh. She looks up and glares at me. I hear the beep of her car as it unlocks, and she slides into the passenger seat. Still staring at me. Her eyes are as cold as ice. The same color, too, except a little bluer. She throws me the middle finger and pulls out.
I whistle loudly and call “feisty” to her open window. She narrows her eyes at me, black hair framing her tan face, and drives off. I smirk and get out another blunt. People these days, am I right?

How far away is he that he can judge her jacket’s material and see the color of her eyes? Can’t be too close to the building if he’s out smoking by his car while in high school (18 is minimum age at which to purchase cigs) and ESPECIALLY if he’s smoking pot. Given that most if not all schools are drug-free zones (with pretty hefty penalties for getting caught) he would be best either hotboxing (in the car) or being far away from people who might turn him in or campus security who might drive by. I’m not saying it can’t be done or that Ace even cares about the rules or whatever but the best bad boys are also the ones not stupid enough to get caught. Hard to be a badass when you’re in prison. Maybe he could be on the roof staring down at everyone in the parking lot. Same scene, he judges her ‘cheap jacket’ and she flips him off. Just a suggestion, of course, take it or leave it.
If he suffers from “affluenza,” like maybe his Daddy is the Sheriff or at least rich enough to buy his son out of trouble, that needs to be made apparent. He owns a Lambo so that’s probably not too far off. Right now he looks like he’s begging to get picked up.
Thank you for bringing these loopholes to my attention!
