As I look down a dark alleyway
the darkness is surrounding me
I can’t believe the crimes committed
and they leave us all hospitalized
as a young child, you wandered about
and your parents saved you from doubt
well it looks like the crimes get stronger
displeasing to all who want to still linger
nonviolence is what I preach
all it takes is a bullet in your head to teach
saddening who all that cry at your funeral
but they don’t come to your room in the hospital
never looking back at the past mistakes they committed
to becoming a parent who really pushed you to the limit
haven’t we’ve seen those dying or those who are poor?
don’t judge the poor for they will one day be a millionaire
must we be proud of what our parents want us to become?
judging our every move before the dusk to the crack of dawn
it must be insanity to have our parents who will beat us
never to learn right from wrong when we do bad stuff
lessons to be taught in school on where to get knowledge
and to seek in diplomas from the colleges we get from it
nobody cares in the criminals who get jail time for crimes
youngbloods and crips should be in jail for being so lame
I’m not going to seek those who feel bad for me
but I ain’t gonna be the one who died for my crime
please don’t seek to be hospitalized for dumb shit
worst of all we blame ourselves for doing dumb shit
I ain’t here for the sympathy that you give
but put that sadness to gladness and live
wherefore we don’t shoot ourselves for being bullied
and so we don’t hang ourselves and leave those deceived
