Almost like a game of tag
But everybody knows
That everybody’s it
We’re all running
Running away
But none of us know what we’re running from
Everyday
As we walk on the street
Everybody wears a mask
It’s like the world is a hospital
But no one knows who’s sick
It feels like the world
Is under house arrest
Almost no cars on the street
We’re all hiding from an invisible disease
Fear
Spreading, contagious, infecting
It’s like we’re hiding from the wrong disease
Fight it
Let it dissolve
Know that whatever’s going on
Whether you’re sick
Whether somebody you know is sick
Or you’re just at home to stay safe
Know that you aren’t alone
We can push through this together
And fight through the fear
we can fight through the disease
Together
