Okay, so recently my mom bought me a planner so I can keep up with what happens at school. Well, I was on vacation, and she took my planner to work to work on (she wanted to fill in the dates that I may have missed, ’cause I’m super forgetful (she calls me the Absent-minded Professer, along with Actually, ’cause I’m always correcting her)). Well, I kept a few drafts of some of my short stories in there. And, somehow, her co-workers got their hands on one of them. They let everyone read it. One person even read it aloud to the entire office!
Well, my mom told me what happened on the phone that night. And, she said she promised to let them read one of my finished works. By that time, I was panicking. I don’t have any finished works! When I told her that, she said to send her some of my best works that were close to finishing. I didn’t really have any that were close to finishing, either.
I spent the entire night deciding what to send to her, for her entire office to read. I’m talking about, like, thirty people! And yes, I understand I have, like, seventy people reading y work on here, but it’s just not the same (no offense). These are people that I have met and talked to. You can imagine how I was feeling.
Finally, I decided to send her Foreteller and Mutated. They were some of the works I liked the best, though Mutated is currently on hold (writing new chapters for Foreteller. Sorry I haven’t posted them! But I’ve got six or seven more waiting for you guys!).
Later that day, my mom sent me pictures of them reading my stories. This one guy was laughing really hard at a scene in Mutated (the one where the two-headed wolf was turning into a human). She said they loved my stories, and they wanted me to continue with them (Foreteller especially).
Anyways, I just wanted to share this with you guys!
Note:: The picture on this piece kind of looks like my PopSocket (I love wolves).

Well, however accidental their getting your work, congratulations are in order! You’ve managed to get your work in front of more people than a lot of budding writers even dream of (maybe because they are afraid of the responses). You also touched them and they want to encourage you to keep working at your art. That is also really great.
I think this must be what stand up comedians go through when they try a set for the first time and it connects with their audience. It is a great feeling and you want to keep going. Harness this high and ride it!
Cheers!
Thank you so much!
