As I look at them, as I look at backs
Just as I am, just as I am sacked
I am the boy Sterlington, I am the boy misjudged
Jumping from frightening, jumping from prejudged
Unhappy I am nervous, unhappy I am shunned
An offering of forgiveness, an offering of the good one
My world is crumbling, my world is saddening
Ask anybody whose crying, ask anybody whose dying
As a boy I was named, as a boy I was criminal
Kill many who didn’t kill many who smile
An ask for forgiveness, an ask for smiling again
Lovely I am blameless, lovely I am breaking end
Will I be happy? Will I be unclaimed?
Just look at me, just look at the blamed
Forgive and forget, forgive and be loved
I am being judged, I am being shunned
As I am born, as I am worthless
I am asking forgiving, I am asking to be blessed
Please, Lord, I need you, please Lord I need flawless
Mourning my death too, mourning my wish to bless
Openly I need truth, openly I need freedom
Ask me all I will give proof, ask me all I will give some
Freedom is what I want, freedom is what I need
Never will I be free from shunt, never will I be free from these
Upsetting I am shackled, upsetting I am not freed
It’s a shame I will blame, it’s a shame I will bleed
My world is over, my world is at its ending
Have mercy moreover, have mercy on feeding
I am not happy anymore, I am not happy any day
It’s a shame I am done for, it’s a shame I am slayed
Now I am dead, now I am done for
A wish to be pled, a wish to be freer
