Each and every day it comes, by the postman’s hand
It comes in piles to our door, regularly as planned.
Whether it’s bills and greeting cards, invitations or prizes
All people are agitated of what lays inside it
Monday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Friday
In total they are hard to count
But when it comes to what it contains
The amount is cancelled out.
By Sunday you are weary and done, from all the mail that you have won.

Maybe it’s just because I rarely get mail, but I love it! Even bills are exciting. I just like seeing my name on it. I get ipsy bags full of makeup samples sent to me every month, and it’s great.
Also in regards to the style of your poem, I liked how you didn’t name the days of the week in order. and you left out Thursday. It really caught my attention. Interesting technique.
Thank you so much for the comment. I respect your opinion and also thank you for the feedback
