It all started with a whisper
Something was out there
The alarm goes off get up
The motorway is jammed
They’re all grabbing coffee
A little gossip here a little gossip there
The shopping bags all full
Hold on! The shelves are all EMPTY!
Like in the days of the Boil notice
The water treatment was compromised
Bottled water became scarce
The neighboring communities were affected
Then a calm came and all was settled
I said the shelves are all EMPTY!
Food is all gone no water no tissue
No covering was issued!
Supplies ran out from town to city from city to state
From country to country at a shocking rate
The coronavirus the global tornado
Still causing havoc today.
