How to do you keep forgiving someone who has only done wrong?
How do you trust and find the light of hope, when all they have done is let you down and kept you in darkness?
How are you supposed to move on, when they keep pulling you back.
Letting go should be easy, letting go should be a relief.
But all they do is make it harder than ever and leave another weight on your chest.
You can tell yourself that they will come to the light, they will realize what they did wrong, things will change. Karma is real, God will have mercy and give them a lesson.
You wait and you wait for these things to happen. Years go by and still they continue to drown you in hatred.
Eating, slowly, at your heart turning it blacker and blacker. Making it crumble.
All trust slowly begins to fade, all love disappears from sight.
You end up turning every situation, every hopeful moment into a fight for survival.
God sees this, yet he does nothing.
Or so you think.
Physically He will do nothing. He won’t move obstacles for you. He won’t part the water, or grow the life that you need to heal.
He won’t open that door and let the light in.
He won’t do anything for you.
But He will.
He will give you strength to move your obstacles. He will give you knowledge to go across the water, the tenderness to grow the life you need to heal. He will give you the trust you need to open that door.
All things are done through Him.
He won’t do anything for you,
He will give you the tools to do for yourself.
So how do you forgive someone who has only done wrong?
You do it, because it provides for that light to shine through.
How do you trust and get out of the darkness that has been thrust upon you?
You push through. You use the strength God has given you, and you push through that darkness, get to that light. The trust will come, you just need to be willing.
When they keep pulling you back, you push harder. You will get the strength, but you must have faith.
Without faith, you would lose all hope, that light will never shine through.

Your writing, the two that I have read, seem to have a strong relatability with complex characters. The gym story had me grabbed. Very relatable language, then the later parts got darker and were a stark contrast to the build up. Interested to see where your writing goes!
Thank you. I have always enjoyed writing but I could never get it to come out how I want it. Even these stories aren’t exactly what I want but I know I have to start some where or I will never finish anything!
Yeah, they seem to have some depth and perspective. Some was tough to read. Definitely not a good night story, or a fairytale. Looking forward to more stuff. My close friend Ali likes the gym story and I’m sending it to her, but it’s not a story easily read aloud.
Oh no, definitely not! Just wait till the end though! I will be posting it in parts so you will have to keep reading!
