One day I took off. Off from my cell phone. It was a long day to do every other thing I wanted to do.
My hands were empty. My head was less busy. My eyes were less tired. Magic happened!! Like I had many hours of Bank balance. Thanks to my cell phone. It did not die.

Hello simple!
I enjoyed reading your short musings about unplugging. I’ve heard that others have had experiences similar to yours, but I wonder if you could expand on what you’ve gone through during the time you “took off”? What did you do instead? How did doing those things make you feel?
I remember my experience taking off. My family and I went on vacation to an out of the way cabin right on Lake Michigan. There was absolutely no cell service, 4G (or any G), Internet–and we were staying for about a week. The first day off I very nearly had panic attack. The second day was much better. It was long, but good. My hands were full of the pages of a Russian novel. My head was more busy with ideas. My eyes…well, they were tired from the reading, but magic did indeed happen.
Cooked, cleaned and slept. And went to buy things I needed. Every work took less time. Amazing !! Usually I keep it away since then. The devices are useful but time is more productive if we use modern technology wisely.
I agree, simple! 🙂
