You make it hard to be your friend
Hanging in, I know you need me
Said I would help you to the end
But I don’t know you now that you’re free
Taking care of you cost me my only shot
For true love
I know it’s not your fault
You believed I was an angel from above
Now I am just the bad guy again
All the time you spend lying
Lamenting that we aren’t good friends
Here I lay with my heart dying
Just another ugly divorce for two
Guess we are not so good
Did I see only what I wanted in you
Maybe we were never good.
