So, I asked my friend “What is love to you”, and he said….
Love is happy, love is togetherness, love is being able to handle someone at their worst and still love them like their best, it’s to be able to stay loyal and faithful regardless of whoever comes around, it’s to be able to look in someones eyes and feel like everything is ok for a moment, no worries, just bliss. It’s to be able to help someone when they’re on the brink of everything and still care for them and appreciate them unconditionally, whatever they go through. It’s to be able to have someone by your side that will stay there no matter what. It’s for someone to do the little things, and you appreciate all of it. It’s a sense of safety, and reassurance. Love is to have the deepest care for someone regardless, it’s to always have their name at the back of your mind, it’s to see someone and instantly light up, it’s to just feel like home. Trust, loyalty, faithfulness, happiness, sadness, anger, worry, hopefulness, it’s everything put together at once, but whatever happens, it all blends in the end to make something beautiful.

If this is a straight quote from your friend, please let him know to speak more often in such a simple, beautiful tone. Easy-to-understand read.
I believe a piece like this does not need any alteration regarding grammar. Straight from the heart and lips.
Here are a few suggestions though just to add clarification:
“…to be able to look into someone’s eyes…”
“…anger, worry, hopefulness — it’s everything…”
^ Use a hyphen instead of an extra comma to create a pause-like effect seen outside of what is already happening with the list of emotions.
Can’t wait to read more!
