The late, chilly October afternoon engulfs my senses as I step out of the warmth of home and onto the walking path. The leaves have just begun to turn as orange and gold dances across the trees. The sound of the gravel beneath my feet and the gentle rushing of the nearby creek capture the imagination and inspire the soul.
The wet grass glistens as I become lost in thought and time. The warmth of home and the enrapturing smell of a home-made meal awaits, but not yet. For now, I gaze upon the wonder of nature as the season grows late and life begins to slow in the gentle, steady rhythm of Autumn.
The noise and cares of life melt away on this aimless, half-dreaming stroll through the park. Peace and harmony descend gently upon my spirit as I gaze upon the wondrous strokes of the Creator’s brush. As I arrive home, the warmth of a crackling fire causes me to sink into a chair and continue to while away the evening hours in a happy dream.

This has such great sensory imagery. It feels like I’m there.
