Love at depths only men fathom with thoughts deep wondering if able to breathe and even the simple touch of her hand cause unthinkable reactions to his heart, body, and soul!
Short distance
the car a drive
walking a glance
then the touch
hand of mine
not just a brush
but a firm grip
tingling of love
stomach a dip
then like lightning
my heart so love bit
this feeling not fighting
as you touch my hand!
Who would’ve thought
touch of your hand
this heart so wrought
even legs trembling stand
composure lost
I only care what I feel
love my way tossed
each time this heart heal
as your touch a flow
that quickens every part
even depths my soul
can’t stop what you start
each time as you touch my hand!
We reach the car
simple thing not so simple
walk not so far
love inside, but not invisible
hard to let go
even to my side
sound of the engine slow
as your love’s bite
always special to know
only hurting when apart
ask where as I drive?
“somewhere for a loving heart,”
totally mesmerized by your reply
as again you touch my hand!
