You said you weren’t a liar.
You said it a lot.
I don’t know why I believed you.
It’s like you spoke it into existence,
but it was only a shell.
You said you didn’t want to lie anymore when you said goodbye.
That didn’t really hit me until I looked back at all the things you told me.
So many false I love you’s and fake words of affirmation.
So many things that made me feel so good and made me love you so much,
but they were all lies.
Losing something hurts,
but it’s worse when you never really had it.

Short and sweet narration of a psuedo love busted later! It is very well summarised in the lines “Losing something hurts,
but it’s worse when you never really had it.” Ilike the crisp way its told.
