A trumpet Roars,my head hurts
The roar calling forth a start
Annoyance is sliding faster to the bottom of my feet
I begin to run. Tired again
My word heard just avoided, dismissed, stand up to a bully
Group watching, say go after the bully alone
You can do it!
School yard fight only one has hurtful words
The other horrified by these words stands still, tired
The bully is my wall
I fought the bully but the bully just walked away and nothing got done that day
day after day nothing got done
Finally I walked away
The bully didn’t win just didn’t want me or my voice, that’s sad
The bully lost to self now
I whispered to myself all sorts of good things and began to run again with joy!
My inner voice has won
Now go back

Thank You for this!
Clever! It’s just as much a poem as it is read from top to bottom as it is read from bottom to top. The stories are different, though. I don’t see many of these anymore. Thanks!
Thank you. You showed me something not created intentionally.
You’re welcome! I can only imagine what you could do intentionally. This was a good poem and you could have fooled me! I thought your last line, “Now go back,” was instructions as well as part of your first poem.
