Subway cars
swinging from the bars
easily entertained by the flutter of your eyelashes.
we made love once
with just our eyes-
as you were seated,
pressed thighs.
I wanna know your lips,
I wanna live within the blossom of your smile,
like a honey bee.
I smell spring air
I swim in the dew
threading through the grass blades.
I’d never forget you.
