And I was standing on a roof,
Of a buisness, several stories high.
And looking up at the moon with a question,
“I’m in such misery, oh why?”
I looked down at the busy streets,
Prepared to make that final fall.
Suddenly a man appeared behind me,
And said “I heard your confused call.”
“Are you an Angel sent to stop me,”
I said before I turned around.
His black wings were outstretched,
And said “No, I crawled from out the ground.
So you’re going to jump and die,
Say goodbye to those you love.
You can’t look me in my eyes
And tell me it’s not true.”
I said, “What good am I to them,
If I can’t take care of myself?
Depression and cigarettes,
None of which good for my health.
The pains are getting worse,
The saddness never ends.
Forged a better path than my past,
I still can’t make any friends.”
He laughed sadistically and said,
“Like you, to me, your girl looks fine.
Go on and foolishly kill yourself!
Tonight, in my wings, she’ll dine.”
I let out a roar with all my might,
I then launched towards him like a spear.
We collided and I brought him down,
But once on the ground he disappeared.
I looked around then I heard his voice.
“She’s mine” then more sadistic laughter.
I knew there was no time to wait,
He was on his way after her.
I made it to the house,
Ran in and kissed my loving wife.
She kissed back in panic until I said
“Honey, tonight you saved my life.”
Tonight a Dark Lord from Hell
Had me at high levels of aggrivation.
But it opened up a new door in my life,
And revealed to me a great Revelation.
