Every year, on Christmas Eve, you probably get REALLY excited! You might listen to Christmas music, get cookies ready for Santa, or get your chores done extra early so you can watch Christmas movies! Have you ever wondered how Santa Claus spends his Christmas Eve? Well, I’m going to tell you!
Every Christmas Eve, Santa Claus wakes up with a smile and a big, “Ho, ho, ho!” This is his FAVORITE day of the year. After he says good morning to Mrs. Clause, Santa sits down to a BIG breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes and milk. You see, Santa LOVES chocolate chip pancakes and milk! After breakfast, Santa goes to his workshop to see the elves. He visits EVERY SINGLE ELF, hundreds of them, and tells each one how important they are and how much he appreciates all the work they do throughout the year.
After Santa visits his elves, he goes through his naughty and nice lists. Santa loves to make sure that naughty kids get all the time they can to get on the nice list! Every time a child goes from naughty to nice, Santa gets a BIG grin and lets out a BIG “Ho, ho, ho!”
After a big dinner with Mrs. Claus, it’s almost time for Santa’s big journey! He goes to visit his reindeer and tells them how great they are going to fly and how thankful he is that they help make millions of children happy every single year. The reindeer love Santa, especially when he gives them a special Christmas Eve meal!
Now it’s time for Santa to go! The elves hitch up the sleigh and Santa checks his bag of toys to make sure every present is wrapped just right. Santa thanks his elves one last time and off they go!
You see, the best part about Christmas at the North Pole isn’t the presents and the excitement. The best part is how kind Santa is and how special he makes Mrs. Claus, his elves, and the reindeer feel every single year. Santa knows that they are the reason he is able to make EVERY Christmas special for you and other children everywhere!
