I’m Thankful for my co-workers with whom I share my day even though they taunt and tease me I like them anyway. I’m Thankful for my friends even those who don’t live near, they’re often in my thoughts especially this time of year. I’m Thankful for my family even though I drive them nuts, like when I say “No Turkey”, My brother says “Do what?” I’m Thankful for my kids who always make me proud, they always find their way to stand out in a crowd. I’m Thankful for my mom I appreciate more each day the values that she taught me and the simple way she raised. I’m Thankful for my dad, even though my dad’s not here, his long shadow now missing at the table every year. Whether it’s a turkey or a tofu No matter what you share Give Thanks to be surrounded By all of those who care. Follow: FB, Instagram, Twitter: WVPoetrygirl
