The Sun shines bright throughout the day, thus filling all with light. Her rays cast shadows upon the ground and shade other from her blinding sight. Each day she rises and she falls, bringing all good cheer. For when the sun shows her vibrant face, all will know that she’s near.
The Moon comes out when all is dark, letting no one hold any fear. Because of his holy sight, all may be less scared. If his strength may fade away, the sky may turn so black. But if you give him the chance to stay, his light will be your path. The stars, his comrades, illuminating the night, are beside him indefinitely helping him to take flight.
As Twilight comes and the Sun goes down, she gracefully withdrawing, the Moon raises it’s head and looks around, silently acknowledging. They both meet as the world starts to sleep, all dozing off so peacefully. And yet their presence makes us weep for the treasures that have grown universally.
The Moon met the Sun as she faded into slumber, brightening his rays and reaching out to her with ease. She simply smiled back ever so slightly, emulating the precious deed. Once their rays had met in the sky, the Sun looked at the Moon and said goodbye. Her voice slipped painlessly into the night as the Moon stood alone with nothing in sight.

I really enjoyed reading this piece. I think of the sun as a guiding light. To me, the sun radiates positivity and happiness. Sunshine makes everything better. It was nice to see that others share this same view.
I don’t enjoy the nighttime or darkness, so I like how you put a positive spin on this by emphasizing the importance of the moon. “The Moon met the Sun as she faded into slumber, brightening his rays and reaching out to her with ease.” This is a beautiful sentence.
