Growing up, we are taught to believe how true love should be. That true love involves a prince like man or a queen like woman. Which ever you prefer. Growing up we believe that true love is fairy tale that is meant to come to life for us. But yet, in reality its not. Yes at times true love can seem that way, but reality is, it is not a fairy tale. We are not Cinderella or Snow White, Sleeping Beauty or any other royalty person. We are normal human beings that want real and pure love. But what exactly is real or in this case “True Love?” True love is actually something I have come across here back in 2014 to now. True love is not about castles, or fancy cars or clothes. It is not about being rich or well known. True love has nothing to do with what we were taught growing up to degree. Growing up, guys are taught to never lay a hand on a women at all for any reason. Women we are taught to love our man unconditionally. Both sexes have been taught the saying “Happy wife, wife life!” for generations with more generations to come. Well truth is, true love is out there, hut however, it is hard. It is not as easy scrubbing on the floors, or just saying I love you to someone. No. True love is something wonderful in itself that is amazing to experience. True love is always worrying and caring about your love 24/7 non-stop. To put them before yourself. For some like me, it is finding myself lying in a half empty queen sized bed crying cuddling to my husband’s pillow with tears of worry, concern, panic, and more mixed emotions that cannot be described at times. It is staying up long hours sometimes arguing. It is always hard work to make true love work and last. To be in love is one thing, but to be in love with true love, that is another all by itself. True love is giving up your time for each other, and making the other one happy. Sometimes it can be performing small gestures such as a simple text as: ” Hey how are you? I love you. Hope you are doing okay.” or for some it is hand writing a note such as “Have a good day at work, you rock I am so very proud of you. Love you.” on a piece of paper and put it into their lunch for work and hope they read it. An example of how true love really works is this: My husband is a truck driver. A very good one at that. He does go to another state from time to time. But when he is at work, we always call eachother to say good night and I love you. Even miles away at work, even though I hate to do it, there will be times not a lot, but some, where I will call him to help with our two kids. And he does. Everyday we are still learning more and more about each other. Recently my husband learned that I don’t really care for the movies never have. And recently I learned that he loves RC cars. So I let him buy some. He even got some for our kids. True love takes time, patience and communication. Yes communication is hard at times in fears of hurting the one we love or them hurting us. But you need to put that feeling aside and communicate with your partner. Otherwise, your relationship will be rocky and harder. True love comes from within all of us. True love is not a fairy tale or a fantasy, it is something that is real and true and yes it can hurt you but it can also make you as well. To truly love someone, the biggest step is to actually first put yourself out there, but keeping up with relationship. Dates, life together, making sure that your love is healthy, and happy at all times. True love can and is stressful, but in the end, it is all well worth it. Everybody true love. I finally found my true love back in 2014. And we are still together. This December will make 3 years of us being married and five years together. True love is happiness for both of you not just one or the other. It take two to make love work. True love is team work with the work split equally 50/50. True love is not a Disney or royalty living. Its not something like we dream of growing up. No it is something that is truly 100% real. True love doesn’t wait. You have to go out there and actually look. You can tell when its true love or not, just by the connection of you both. If it is happy and stays that way most of the time, it is true love. But if it is either happy all the time no ups or downs it is not true love. Or if it had its up and downs and is mostly bad with no way to work it out together as a team, more than likely it may not be true love. The opposite of dark is not light. It is love. True love. When you go out looking for love the key thing to ask yourself is this. “Are we happy and can we work as a team?” True love is not an easy thing to do, but it is a beautiful ride. Don’t be afraid to jump. But do be cautions of who you love. If they hurt emotionally, physically or mentally, then walk away. It is okay to walk at times. Its called your safety. Your comfort zone. Your security zone. True love does exist. You just have to find it, feed it, love it, and let it grow each and every single day. Just like I am doing right now along with tons of other people are doing to. True love is not a fantasy, it is real and pure and true to your heart.

I love your message! True love really is something that takes maintenance; it isn’t just a magical be all end all of any relationship. I would suggest splitting it up into paragraphs, though, as it’s easy to lose your place when reading such a big chunk of text.
CrystalS I am glad that you liked it. And thank you for the advice I will try to remember that for next time.
