In a dusty old room, on the second floor of a run down apartment building, there sits a man racking back and forth. He’s staring into blank space listening to the voices around him.
Whispering to his self “They are not real. They are not real”.
Holding his temple, he hears a wood plank moving under someone’s or something’s feet. Looking around wide eyes he see no one. He begins to scream.
“LEAVE ME ALONE, PLEase… I’ve done nothing wrong”!
The creaking of the wood planks gets lounder climbing to a unbearable sound. The whispering get heavier screaming inside his head. The man holds his knees to his chest.
Whispering “please, please just leave me alone.

Wow, this is a chilling piece!
I would suggest a few minor edits:
– say himself instead of “his self”
– The whispering gets heavier instead of “The whispering get heavier”
– “please, please just leave me alone. : finish the quotation with the quotation mark.
Keep writing 🙂
