The sad girl sits.
A queen in her own right.
A sad queen sitting alone on her pedestal
She cries, gentle, salty tears falling slowly from her eyes
Scarred eyes, that have seen sadness and fear, anger and happiness
When asked if OK, she responds “Yes”
A marionette in a play
Juliette had Romeo
Scarlett had Rhett
Allie and Noah
But nowhere is it written that Marionette has a match.
So she sits
Golden locks soaked now,
with unforgiven tears.

This is so delicate. But I hope that somewhere this marionette realizes that she is a queen on her own right and perhaps some love stories are better never started (Romeo and Juliet) though some people may call me a cynic.
Again, thank you, your comments touch my heart!!!
