Life behind closed doors
There’s nothing anyone would want more
This world’s a pity of shame
There really is no such thing as fame
We sit around
Alone in the background
Waiting for the day
When we open our eyes where we lay
We are all blinded by the dark
That rest beneath our hearts
Everyone is truly the same
They don’t want to be some lame
Life behind closed doors
Is nothing new to the poor
Mistreated all their lives
Because they can’t afford a dime
The word sees disgust
But I see a pure soul you can trust
Grateful for all they have
And they couldn’t be a happier lad

I wish I could write poetry like this. I love it
