Now that I’ve entered the third grade
Of course with Ms. Glabbett as my teacher
It’s very important that you shouldn’t lie
Because lying gets you nowhere in this life
My day with Gladys Schuckner and my friends
I’ll become a liar when I should get myself out of it
Don’t you ever think I’ve tried not lying in the world?
Because lying gets you nowhere and I know it for sure
Trust me I’ve tried doing this plenty of times before
And I’ll get soap in my mouth because of lying too much
It’ll take begging and pleading just to please my parents
Because mommy and daddy won’t allow any of the lies
Haven’t we’ve told a lie before and our parents won’t
I’m sure of it and I don’t wish to beg and plead no more
Against myself and against the world I hate the lies I do
Because my mommy and daddy won’t become angered
It’s like I’m dying of laughter as they rinse my mouth out
Happily my daddy is displeasing when he uses soap suds
Unwillingness will overrule this regretful and self-righteous
Nowhere to hide from my mommy and daddy when angry
Rinsing my mouth with soap suds and water that’s too hot
Upstairs I’m sent to my room with no TV and no electronics
I’m too much of a lying game lately and it’s not so pleasure
How could everybody seek a soapy disgrace when you lied?
Every time we are at the sink and my little body gets soaked
I can’t seem to dry off and seek a comeback when I’m in suds
Well I can’t welcome the lying game anymore than it is already
Never pleasing when my mouth is overfilled with soap and water
Well besides the soap suds in my mouth I am now a third grader
And I’m in Ms. Glabbett’s classroom and I made a newest friend
His name is Wilson Munsley and he’s eight just like me but short
I’ll say that Wilson is a down-to-earth person who like his pet cat
Now students we’re going to learn about American History today
Let’s begin with the Native Americans and do a little bit of a skit
The Indians are Hughes, Gladys, Wilson and anyone who’ll want
Let’s begin the skit shall we? It goes like this all the third graders
The Indians are coming ashore and flocking into all of the millions
And the Indians are taking over American soil as they enter upon it
Neither people will have any weapons or any sort of pointed objects
Because I’m trying to teach you all about the safety and fun of this
Let’s begin as Native American played by Hughes will do his part
The Indians arrived on the lands of the Americas as they entered
And it is I the second Indian who is female and played by Gladys
And lastly it is the third Indian who is male and played by Wilson

This was such a wild ride! It’s so true that lying gets you nowhere. also being a hypocrite gets you nowhere.
