Never thought before
Setting my heart
With all my might
Win love from the start
My eyes, you not ignore
Love at first sight
Something like that
This heart of mine
Intentions of love
Something in me ardent
Nothing my mind above
Your my morning, noon, and night
Maybe your God sent
An angel for sure
Hoping my love you might
Usually thoughts curb
Strong intentions of love
I’m not a stalker
but my mind you sure disturb
Uncontrollable heart
Racing a rapid heartbeat
How much longer
Can I stall this need?
The raging, my part
This fire of hunger
Intentions of your love!!

I can imagine being in love sounds much like this poem, with lots of “hunger,” “rage” and “hearts.” I recognized the choppy style of this poem as your style, not my preference, I’m sorta the type that likes everything to flow from one line to the next, but I guess the subject calls for such a style. Just one grammatical thing, I believe you mean “you’re.” But besides that, this was really nice.
Your right poems are suppose to flow and maybe even to some kind of rhythm, thanks for the helpful advice and especially your kind comment.
