They say that true love is the closest thing to magic we have here on earth.
But I have a question for the creator of this thing called “true love”.
If it’s true this is some sort of magic,
Is it light magic, or dark magic?
Now maybe I’ve been watching too many fantasy shows, but all I can think is sin makes us feel good, the devil will do anything to make us feel like we are on the best dose of ecstasy out there.
So when love feels good, does that mean its dark magic? Does that mean its a bad thing?
All magic comes with a price, so maybe break ups and goodbyes are the prices we have to pay to use that dark magic.
Maybe I’m over thinking.
Or maybe I’m right.
It’s like asking how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie part of a tootsie pop….
The world may never know.

I really liked that you’re questioning a lot of the “facts” we’re told as children and comparing them to things that we have learned later on. It’s always good to be asking questions about the dynamics of things like love. It’s a really weird subject and no one’s answer will ever be quite like your own. Also, that tootsies pop commercial reference really made me laugh despite the tone of the piece.
