Confusion swirls like a
black hole.
The universe is everything and yet
it is nothing.
Our tiny speck of a world,
home,
to the human race.
Mother Earth has given us so much.
She’s given us life.
But every day we pour more
and more poisons down her throat.
We pretend not to notice as she gags and chokes
while we murder her children, our family.
We read books about dystopia but one thing we don’t realize,
this is dystopia enough already.
A six player monopoly game.
99.99% the same and yet
blood stains all the carpets.
We talk about our
glorious founding fathers,
but is the definition of glorious
someone who kills,
kidnaps,
then lies?
That’s the legacy of our role models.
And it’ll be ours if we don’t put an end to this soap opera.

^This is a great line and so true. We don’t realize how ungrateful we’re being for the gift we have.
Thank you! Yes, this planet is the only reason the human race exists!
