Resilience jumps out from the sockets of some
Untold pain and foretold happiness are seen through those eyes
Loneliness is seen through his and abandonment through hers
Through the eyes of the beholder so much stirs
Deep in his eyes I see war in his spirit
Far in her eyes she plays games with her soul
He feels like he’s drowning I can see it in his eyes
She feels like she’s falling but there’s strength in her eyes
Through the eyes of the beholder so much cries
She was poor and in her eyes I saw hope
He was rich and in his eyes I saw sorrow
She loves him for life while he loves her to death
She wants help look into her eyes, he has given up look into his, I saw him stare
Through the eyes of the beholder there is danger and despair
Look into those eyes there are secrets of life
Look into my eyes I am somebody’s wife
Look into his eyes his heart is pierced with a knife
Look into her eyes her heart struggles with strife
In those eyes and through the windows it’s dark or bright
In all eyes there is a mystery light
