Beyond a roving twilight song
Into a dream I drifted long
And deeper then, into the night
I dreamt of ever flowing light
A vision framed in dancing leaves
Into a hushed and darling breeze
Now deeper then, into the dawn
I dreamt of morning lent to fawn
Where I woke, I did not know
Into the waking hours, slow
Was I but an aging ghost
It was then, you held me close
And I knew the love, I needed most
