You act as if I’m an old rag
take your dirt as if your clean
Run me through the ringer
all the while your superficial brag
Making me look the one so mean
then at me pointing the finger
I’ve got news for you, no more hurting me
My love for you so deep and strong
but enough tear drops and hurt
I’m so tired the one done wrong
Over and over I’m the one getting burnt
but you tell everyone my blame, my sin
things are about to change
You won’t hurt me that way again
This old rag is through washing your messes
gonna let you clean up after yourself
Let your dirt be your own
then of your erroneous transgressions
you’ll be the only one who confesses
and let everyone your sins be known
coz’ you won’t be hurting me that way again!
