In the Spring when I go walking and the leaves are shining new, in the stillness of the mountains my thoughts imagine you. Your laugh a little awkward your hands a little rough, inside kind and tender, but outside strong and tough. In the heat of early Summer when the sun shines bright outside I imagine walks at midnight with you right by my side. In the Fall when leaves are turning and the wind begins to chill, as Autumn days are waning I picture you here still. When the cold of Winter finds me 'neath the covers of my bed I hold unto the warmth of you alone inside my head. Follow on FB, Instagram, Twitter: @WVPoetrygirl
