love.
so simple, yet complex.
wanting to perplex.
in beautiful agony
a garden of lavender
a meadow of daisies
a mist on the eyes
life a little hazy
a laugh a little lazy
a smile a little crazy
pain,
so little lately.
i want to spend my life with you

I find your poetry style interesting. I’ve spotted a few pieces of your work before on noahwriting and have noticed that you seem to enjoy using enjambment. A lot of poets use enjambment in their works. I, personally, think that the use of enjambment can help the flow of poetry. However, if I could make a suggestion…?
Most of your enjambment seems to occur at the end of your lines. The use of enjambment in this way is fine, but I wonder if I could challenge you to explore using enjambment in a different way. Instead of placing your punctuation at the ends of your lines, try to place them at the ends of fully formed thoughts. Think of it as if you were punctuating normal prose writing, only you’re splitting your sentences up into different line groupings. Does that make sense?
I actually have never heard about enjambment until now so thank you so much for showing me! Thank you also for the suggestion, I will try it out!
Happy to share! If you’ve got any questions about the technique feel free to hit me up via a message on here (….messaging is possible on this site, right?).
