People say to love you must overcome the art of hating. They think that if you hate someone then you do not love them. But isn’t that the point of love? To hate someone is to love someone so much, that you may not like them at all. Now if you think about it, when you love someone so much wouldn’t you hate them as well? In every soul of the human body, there may be deep love, but there is always hate. In every soul of the human body, there may be deep hate, but there is always love. There cannot be a world without hate or love. If there were only love, then life would be so perfect you would start to hate it. If there were only hate, then life would be miserable and sad. But isn’t that the point? If there were only a life of hate, then life would be sad that you would need something or someone to love. People often thing war is full of hate and sorrow, but it is also full of love. It is the small things that people must love, in order to hate. It is the small things that people must hate and love, to make this world worthy of living.

You brought up some interesting thoughts in this piece. It got me thinking about the relationship between love and hate. I do believe the two are related, but I am still working out exactly how. I think it may have something to do with the fact that we feel both of them so strongly.
I agree. It’s the feelings of these two that got me going. People always compare the two as if they had nothing to do with each other, but I think all feelings are connected. I’m glad you thought me piece was interesting!
When I think of Love and Hate together, what first comes to mind to me is that, Hate comes into the picture at the rejection of Love….maybe you care about someone so much and they reject you, for reasons you don’t even understand why, so you begin to hate them instead…maybe hate is a too strong a word, but …..I read once somewhere that the emotions of love and hate both use the same neuro circuitry, so it makes sense they are so easily changed from one to the other…I once wrote a poem called “Love and Hate”…..I’ll post it as my next post….it’s along the same lines. Great job!
