It was Paulo Coelho who said that “You
drown not by falling into a river, but by
staying submerged in it.” And he was
right.
Falling is part of life, and if you learn to
fall gracefully, you will go places no
one has ever been before, and you will
experience things that you never knew
were possible. Because the more you
fall, the better you get at living. And
the better you get at living, the easier
it becomes for you to live the life
you were meant to live.
Risking is an essential skill to develop.
Moving away from your comfort zone
is uncomfortable, clearly. But if you
dare to do it, you will see it was
totally worth it.

As someone who has recently started to try and do things that scare her, I completely agree with this. Coming out of your comfort zone is hard, but you’ll never meet any new people or having new experiences in there. I’m starting to think the best parts of life are the ones that scare us the most.
