Oh, Solitary Woman,
all alone but for guardian.
Solitary Woman crying in silence,
as her body is raped,
her mind played with,
and her spirit is broken.
Solitary Woman
Struggling to find safe harbor,
Solitary Woman
wishing for Death.
Solitary Woman
meets a solitary man
runs in fear of her heart
Solitary Woman
Broken, Silent and Strong,
Solitary Woman
keeping watch over others
Like a gargoyle or Harpy of old
protecting and guiding our Solitary Sisters
Solitary Woman
All alone but for her guardian.
